In its early years, Enigma was possibly the second most successful basketball program in Berrien County. They were second place in the district in 1929 - a mere game away from going to state. In later years, they had Ann McMillan. While McMillan was a star in town, at ABAC she became more widely known because of an ambidextrous hook shot. The Nashville Herald gave her college nickname as "unconscious" because of her lack of emotion while playing.

Before the gym was built, Enigma played on a court with a clay surface.
