JUNIOR HIGH

  1. Basis of Eligibility
    • Age - shall be under 17th birthday before first day of tournament
    • Must not be in more than second year of high school, including this year
  2. Registration
    • All lists of eligibile students shall be filed with Mr. Stallings by February 21 for registration committee.
    • Registration committee: Mr. Gaines, chairman; Mr. Dewar, Mr. Rutland, and Mr. Powell
  3. Date of Tournament
    • March 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th
  4. Finance Committee
    • R.A. Stallings, B.W. Peters, and L.L. Batts
    • Order balls for grammar school champions
    • Secure referee, score keeper, gym - $10.00
    • General regulations
  5. Tickets at Door
    • Handled by Mr. Gaines' students
  6. Admission
    • Each series of games, except last - 10c for pupils and teachers; 20c for adults. Final series - 15c for pupils and teachers; 25c for adults.
  7. Free Passes
    • 10 boys and 12 girls in Grammar and High School tournament, by o.k. by person in charge of team principals and wives
    • Coaches, wives, or husbands
  8. Playing Periods
    • 8-minute quarters in junior high school
    • 6-minute quarters in grammar school

GRAMMAR SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

  1. Eligibility
    • Same age as Junior High School
    • Must be enrolled in Grammar School
    • Grammar school students can play in Junior High, but Junior High cannot play in Grammar School tournament
