Rebelette Record Book

The girls' record book primarily has two divisions: BR and AR. BR is used to represent the Rebelettes who played in the days of 3-on-3 basketball, which was the manner of play from their beginnings in 1954 until the tip-off of the 1970-71 season. AR is an indicator of all basketball played afterwards. Initially - from the 1970-71 season through the 1974-75 campaign, the remodeled girls' style was played with rovers. Four players could play at each end, but only two of the five, the rovers, could cross the center line and play on the other side. Starting with the 1975-76 season, five girls from each team were on the floor and they could go as they pleased on the hardwood.

The three-pointer was introduced in Georgia for the 1987-88 season.

Statistics such as rebounds and assists are not included with the record book. Very little of that type of record has survived over the years.
