The Tournament
Teams: 10
How determined:
Champion: Stilson
School Title: 1st
Final Record: 29-2
Coach: S.A. Driggers
Notes: A week later, Stilson captured the Class C boys' title. The Driggers-led squads became the first school to make a sweep of the championships.
Other Notes:
- Hiram's opening round victory over Cedar Grove featured a little bit of controversy. Hiram had been awarded a technical foul shot late in the game and missed. Erroneously, the officials gave the ball to Cedar Grove for the inbounds. The Grovers' Clarice McClung scored to put them ahead by a point. At this point, the referees realized their miscue and had the points taken off the board. Hiram hung on to win.
