All-State

This will also include the same awards by another name - All-Tournament and All-Stars. For a few years of the late 1940s and early 1950s, the GHSA named its own official team. In other years, the Journal and Constitution named their own. If the lists vary between newspapers, I will type up both and add them here. Of course, there were some years that the girls were pretty much neglected and no team was named.

All classifications are lumped into each year's section. However, each section may not be complete. I'm writing these down at random and typing them even more randomly.

These are limited to newspaper awards given out at tournament time. All-Region, All-District, and other awards that did not encompass the whole state will not be added.
