Notes: Just one season earlier, Turner would have been thrilled to have won a championship as coach of a Chattooga hoops team. He probably would have been a little surprised, though, if you told him his title would be with the girls. The girls' coach of Chattooga left midway through the 1986-87 season. Turner pulled double duty for the remainder of the season, leading both the boys and girls before only coaching the girls in 1987-88.
