Other notes: This tournament is quite possibly complete. Unlike the boys tourney, which has some teams seemingly disappear from the known bracket, everyone finishes their path here.
This was an annual tournament hosted by Georgia State, now known as Savannah State. They were the nearest thing to an actual state champion, but other areas of the state still held on their tournaments, such as the Big Seven (which evolved into the GIA's Class AA), the SGAA and the Northwest Georgia Interscholastic Basketball Tournament.
