Georgia State Tournaments

Georgia State is known today as Savannah State. Beginning in 1937, they sponsored a state prep tournament. Originally, these were boys' only. At an unknown point, a girls' division was added. These tournies lasted through 1948. The GIA was born in 1948 and the group wasted no time in setting up their own state championships.
