Year Minimum Foundation building program completed
1956.

Cherokee County Training received a new school building in the county's building program, which consolidated all African American schools in Cherokee and merged the Cherokee County and Canton city school systems.

The high school at Ralph Bunche fully integrated with Cherokee High in 1967, with elementary grades following later.
