The Dasher building is one of the few Rosenwald schools still standing in Georgia.

Future principal Creacy Sermons stated Westside High "was one of the largest black high schools in Georgia, fully accredited and serving 800 students." Westside was in the top 20 in 1968 in size among GIA member schools, but its number would have never been around 800.
