Year Minimum Foundation building program completed c. 1956-57 Little is known about McDuffie's building program at this time. McDuffie County Training (later R.L. Norris) was no doubt built with Minimum Foundation money. Pine Street Elementary, of Thomson, seems to have gotten an addition, based on overhead views from Historic Aerials. Considering that Mount Gilead near Dearing was gone within a decade, any upgrades it received were minor.
