Year Minimum Foundation building program completed c. 1956. All county schools were consolidated into Kaigler, an elementary and high school building.

Year of total integration 1970. Kaigler closes in 1970. The sole white high school in the county does undergo a major change with total integration, from Georgetown to Quitman County High.
