Future Olympian Martha Hudson competes for the Twin City (McRae) team. Hudson won gold as part of the United States 4x100 relay team at the 1960 Olympics.

Hudson also ran a leg of Twin City's winning 440 relay team at this 1957 meet.

The Leader-Tribune article about the state track meet credits Twin City's Hudson as Mary Hudson, but with a note in the May 2, 1957, write-up that "Hudson has run in many national meets such as the Tuskegee Relays and the Women's AAU Relays," no doubt that this is indeed Martha Hudson.
