The Tournament
Teams: 16
How determined:

Champion: Carver, Atlanta
School Title: 2nd
Final Record: 30-3
Coach: Calvin Jones
Notes: After Carver jumped out to an early lead in the finals, Brown started playing stall ball. Not only had they heard and seen about Carver's incredible scoring ability, they had felt it. In the Region 6-AA finals Brown had been overwhelmed, 110-52. Carver's 141 against George is a state record for tourney games. No one has come close since. George was only down by three (6-9) in the opening three minutes of the game. Halftime score was 71-29 and Carver had 101 at the end of the third.
