Notes: This was sweet redemption for Coach Anders. From 1959-61, her Villa Rica squads made the finals, only to be beaten.
Other Notes:
- Pickens had an awfully hard time shutting down Deborah Collins in their game against Bradwell. After Lynn Porter hit the first basket of the game for Bradwell, Collins proceeded to score the next 39 for them. Pickens could only match her total as they lost, 39-41. Collins ripped the nets for 50 against Cairo in the semis.
